3-11P Emergency Services Clinical Coordinator - Our client, a community hospital southwest of Boston, has an immediate opening for a second shift, Emergency Services Nurse Coordinator. Reporting to the Director, ED, this individual will oversee 14 RNs + 2 paramedic techs, 30 beds and 22 hallway spots in the ED. A Bachelor’s Degree is preferred but not required; a BLS/ACLS is a plus. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, a minimum of 3 and preferably 4-5 years of emergency department clinical experience including charge or coordinator experience.
Director, Quality/Informatics - Our client, an acute care hospital, located in western Massachusetts, has a newly created position of Director, Quality/Informatics in their 90+ member Physician Associates Practice. Reporting to the Executive Director, Physician Associates Practice and working closely with the hospital CMO, this individual will be responsible for developing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating clinical quality improvement activities, optimizing the EMR to enhance provider and staff productivity, identifying best practices in both quality improvement and informatics to help meet individual, practice and organizational needs and goals, designing and implementing clinical training for staff. Requirements include: Bachelors, Health Administration, science, stats or nursing and Masters preferred. Certification in process improvement, six sigma, lean, microsystems or other quality management formal training preferred. A minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in an ambulatory health care setting or physician practice and at least 3 years of managerial experience are required. Office EMR and quality improvement experience are a plus. Relocation assistance will be provided if needed.
Director, Perioperative Services - Our client, a Magnet hospital located in southern Vermont, seeks an experienced nursing director to oversee its surgical services department. This individual will report to the Administrative Director, Inpatient Services and oversee the OR, PACU, EEG, Preadmission Testing, Sterile Processing, Endoscopy and Inpatient & Outpatient Infusions and Transfusions. A BSN and MSN (or at least enrolled in a Master program) and a minimum of 5 years of surgical services management experience are required. CNOR designation, a strong performance and process improvement track record and sound interpersonal skills are a plus. Relocation assistance is available.
Administrative Director, Perioperative Services - Our client community hospital in western Massachusetts has an opening for an Administrative Director, Perioperative Services. Reporting to the COO/CNO, this individual will have clinical and administrative responsibility for the OR, PACU, SDS, Endoscopy and Central Sterile Processing. A BSN is required and an MSN highly preferred. A minimum of 3-5 years of current clinical and administrative management experience in surgical services as well as a proven track record of results are crucially important. ACLS/CPR, CNL and/or CNOR designation are a plus. Relocation assistance is available.
Meditech Systems Analysts II - Located south of Boston, our client, hospital has immediate openings for (2) Meditech Systems Analysts II. Reporting to the Applications Manager, these individuals will possess a BS or BA in Medical Technology or related field, 3-5 years of experience implementing and supporting automated hospital information systems (Meditech) and have a solid understanding of DPH and JCAHO regulations. In addition, he/she will be expected to lead and supervise the work of others in the absence of the Application Manager.
Quality Management Advisor - Our client, a metropolitan Boston health system, has an immediate opening for a Quality Management Advisor. This individual will report to the Sr Director, Performance Improvement and, in general, act as an internal consultant supporting, promoting and enabling the organization to improve clinical care, operations and support system quality. He/she will be responsible for the daily support of strategic quality and process improvement projects/efforts as well as assisting in identifying and documenting best practices to provide optimal care, measure performance, document key success factors and lessons learned, and developing and supporting implementation processes across the system. A Bachelors is required; a Masters is preferred. A minimum of 5 years of health care quality experience, strong computer/data collection and analytical skills and demonstrated abilities in PI concepts/processes/tools are required.
Director, Clinical Services – Our client, a Rhode Island-based VNA seeks a seasoned, critical-thinking, self-starting home care manager for its newly-created position of Director, Clinical Services. Reporting to the COO, the Director, who will be a registered nurse, will provide support and leadership in directing the development and implementation of clinical staff and programs. A BSN or similar bachelor’s degree is preferred; a Master’s Degree is a plus, along with a minimum of 5 years of home care experience and at least 3-5 years of health care managerial experience.
