Clinical Nurse Educator, ICU/CCU - Our client, a Boston area teaching hospital, has an immediate opening for a seasoned ICU/CCU Clinical Nurse Educator. He/she will act as an expert clinical/educational resource to the nursing staff on an 8-bed ICU and an 8-bed CCU, coordinating orientation of new hires, leading classes and new rollouts, doing assessments and overseeing annual comptencies. The educator must be MSN prepared (or at least well enrolled in a masters program) with at least 5 years of critical care experience including recent leadership and/or educator experience. Must be knowledgeable about Continuous Venous Venous Hemofibrilation, Intra-aortic Balloon Pumps, Ventricular Assist Devices and Hypothermia Protocol.
Director, Imaging - Our client, an acute care community hospital, south of Boston, seeks an experienced, business-oriented Director of Imaging Services. Reporting to the VP, Clinical Services, and the Director will oversee an Imaging Department consisting of: Radiology, CT, Mammo, ULS, NM, MRI, EEG/EMG, EKG, Vascular Lab and Central Transport. A Bachelors Degree is required; a Masters is highly preferred. Must have significant technical imaging and a minimum of 3-5 years of managerial experience. Confidence, poise and polish are essential as he/she will be the “face” of the department. Strong financial skills and follow up are critical as well.
Adult Psych Clinical Nurse Specialist - Our client, a teaching hospital north of Boston, has an immediate opening for a seasoned Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist. Under the direction of the Administrative Director, Psych and the Chair of the Department of Psychiatry, the CNS will provide professional nursing care to acutely and chronically ill patients in inpatient and predominantly outpatient settings. He/she must have 3-5 years of CNS experience in inpatient or, more preferably, outpatient settings. Consultation liaison psych experience is highly preferred.
Director, Risk Management - Our retained client, a Providence-area teaching hospital, has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Director, Risk Management. This individual will manage all liability exposure for the self-insured hospital, including medical practices, services and environment. He/she will help facilitate the hospital's Underwriting & Claims Committee in managing and directing the professional liability program. A Bachelors Degree is required and either a J.D. or Masters a plus. A minimum of 5-7 years of hospital-based risk management experience is a must. He/she must possess strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills as well as an overall arresting presence.

Ambulatory Nurse Managers - Our client, a major academic medical center in New Hampshire, has two ambulatory management openings – Nurse Manager, Dermatology and Nurse Manager, Gastroenterology & Hepatology. Reporting to Associate Practice Managers, these individuals will direct the nursing care, education and support of patients seen within those specialties. Each manager will provide direct supervision to nursing service personnel and integrate appropriately trained personnel and required material resources into the patient care delivery system to achieve the identified clinical and financial outcomes. The right candidate will be a registered RN and will possess a BSN at a minimum, at least 3 years of ambulatory clinical and demonstrated supervisory experience and strong interpersonal skills. Director, Oncology Nursing Operations - Our client, an acute care community hospital in southeastern Massachusetts, who recently partnered with a major Boston cancer center to provide outstanding oncology care to its patients, has a newly-created opening for a Director, Oncology Nursing Operations. Working closely with the Chief of Oncology and reporting to the Senior Director, Network Nursing & Decision Support, the Oncology Director will plan, organize and direct the operations and quality improvement programs for the medical oncology clinic. MS, BSN and OCN are required plus 5-10 years experience managing an ambulatory oncology care practice, including supervision of nursing and admin personnel. Clinical hematology-oncology experience required as well.
OR Nurse Manager - Our client, a magnet acute care community hospital, located in Providence, RI, seeks a mature, experienced OR Nurse Manager. Reporting to the Director, Perioperative Nursing, the manager will oversee a state-of-the-art, 10-suite OR, a 14-bed PACU, a 10-bay Pre-Op, the Sterile Processing Department and approximately 115 FTEs. Requirements include: BSN and Masters (or enrolled) highly preferred, CNOR a plus and at least 3 years of managerial experience. Strong staff development skills and significant ortho surgery experience preferred as well.
Manager, Transcription Services - Our client, a north shore, full-service community hospital, is looking for a new Manager, Transcription Services to support the Director, Health Information Management. Qualifications include: a bachelor's or an associate's degree, RHIT or CMT preferred, a minimum of 5-10 years of transcription experience and at least 5-7 years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of MedQuist platform a plus. He/she will supervise a veteran staff consisting of 2 lead coders and 7 transcriptionists. The hospital is going to a productivity-based pay system and needs a knowledgeable manager to oversee this effort.

Our client a leading cancer center in Boston, MA, has an immediate opportunity for a Director of Nursing and Clinical Services. The director is to oversee hematologic malignancies exam practices and infusion clinics, comprised of 20 exam rooms and 27 infusion chairs. Liaison between various patient care services to ensure continuity. Principal responsibilities include administrative, operations, clinical, personnel management and quality improvement. MS or Bachelor's degree in nursing. Licensed as an RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Hematology-Oncology nursing experience required. OCN, AOCN, or CPON preferred.
