Business Development Executive – Behavioral Health Outsourcing Solutions

Our client has an opening for a Business Development Executive to focus on expanding our client’s consulting and outsourced solutions within the behavioral health industry. The primary focus of the Business Development/Sales team is to promote our client’s capabilities, establish and foster business relationships, and secure business within the behavioral industry. The Business Development Executive position plays a critical role in achieving this goal and the continued growth of the organization. The Business Development Executive will generate leads, negotiate contracts, manage accounts, and provide superior customer service.

Our Client
Our client specializes in providing services for Mental Health and Substance Abuse facilities, including billing, insurance collections, utilization management and consulting to increase profitability. Our client focuses on Billing, Utilization Review services, Consulting, Benefits & Eligibility, revenue cycle management, contracting and credentialing, business intelligence, data analytics, and mergers and acquisitions.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to growth efforts

  • Deliver desired results: cold calling, generate leads, cross-sell, increase revenue, & negotiation of contracts

  • Cultivate new relationships and nurture existing relationships

  • Position our client as the preferred service provider in the market

  • Analyze key metrics and chart course of action accordingly

  • Collaborate with members of the business development/sales team

  • Reputation management positive representation of our client through interactions with clients, prospects, and business leaders within the post-acute care community

  • Travel as needed to conferences, trade shows, or meetings.

  • Strong knowledge of Salesforce

  • Building portfolio of business & creating sales strategy within assigned territory


Education and Experience:

  • 3-5 years sales experience, primarily in the behavioral healthcare industry

  • Proven track record of success

  • Bachelor's degree preferred (Communications or Marketing degrees plus)

  • Tech-savvy Ability to navigate MS Office applications (ex. Outlook, Teams, etc.), CRM software (Salesforce preferred), and additional systems as needed

  • Works well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

  • Advanced interpersonal communication skills
