Product Owner

Our client is looking for an experienced Product Owner in formulary management and administration.   The Product owner (PO) will be responsible for implementing , illustrating, enhancing and maintaining our client’s formulary solution.  This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual  with a special interest in formulary management and new product development experience.

 

Working under the supervision of the CEO, Chief Pharmacy Officer and in tandem with the Vice President of Sales, the PO will take the lead in coordinating efforts to both deliver the Formulary management solution , and contribute to the development of the next iteration of the company’s Formulary management tool working collaboratively with other internal team members.

 

In this strategic role, he or she will be responsible for the support and execution of customer strategy and business expertise while continuing deep enduring relationships developed with Key External Customers. Identify and monitor new or evolving market dynamics and impact to formulary and provide input internally for prioritization.

 

This position requires an individual with an excellent knowledge of formulary management and administration. Overall knowledge of managed care / PBM operations, P&T committee functions, and drug utilization management strategies is a plus.

 

In this role, he or she will travel to designated client sites and meetings for supporting Sales /Business activities in accordance with our client’s  service offerings as the Product Owner. Will also be present for RFP and Finalist Presentations as required.

 

• 8-10 years of experience within PBM or Health Plan’s formulary operations

 

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to the development of the next iteration of the company’s Formulary management tools

Assists in the delivery of client requested deliverables for Formulary

Project management of client and product implementation activities

Facilitate communication, collaboration and build strong relationships across the organization as well as

with external client business and project teams.

Demonstrated analytical, organizational, and project management skills

Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook)

Strong ability to multitask, set priorities, and meet strict deadlines

Experience working at or with a health plan, PBM, or similar is highly desirable

Experience working with data and data design preferred
